God the Son is Christ Jesus (Mat. 3:16-17, Heb. 1:1-2, 5). He was born of a virgin (Luke 1:26-35). He was God incarnate (Phil. 2:5-11). He committed no sin (Heb. 4:14-15). He was on earth approximately thirty-three years, died on the cross at Calvary for our sins and was raised by God from the dead on the third day (Luke 3:23 & Chapters 23-24). He ascended into the heavens and sat down in glory on the right hand of God Almighty (Luke 24:50-51, Acts 1:9-11 & 7:55, 1 Peter 3:22). Jesus is the only mediator between God the Father and mankind (1 Tim. 2:5). There is only one way to the true God and that is through his Son Jesus (St. John 14:6, Mat. 7:14). To deny that Jesus came to earth as God incarnate and/or deny that he is the Christ, is a sign of the spirit of antichrist (1 John 4:1-3).

• The first book in the world ever printed was the Holy Bible and more Bibles have been printed than any other book in the world. It has been translated entirely or in part into more than one thousand languages and dialects and reading systems for the blind.
• For more than 2,000 years, the Bible has been amazingly and supernaturally preserved. The book of Isaiah (of the Old Testament) was one of the books found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. It is awesome to read these scrolls which are 2000 years old, in comparison with a modern King James Bible. Only two words have been changed after 2000 years!

Christian Bible Prophecies

The modern day psychics that predict and foretell what will happen in the coming years, have a record of being accurate only 3% of the time. Their prophecies are often very ambiguous (unclear/confusing) as in the case of Nostradamus, so that they can be considered to come true, no matter what the results are of a certain event. This is precisely why so many of their prophecies include a lot of 'ifs'.

On the other hand, there are more than 2000 very specific prophecies in the Holy Bible that have been fulfilled (come true to the last minute detail) exactly as they were prophesied. Let's consider just a few of them.

Babylon-The city of Babylon was perhaps the most grand and magnificent in ancient history. Its hanging gardens are considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Babylon's inhabitants were cultured and educated advancing in the sciences more than all the ancient peoples that preceded them. Babylon was a most mighty empire and government. Nevertheless, God said: And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew (utterly destroyed) Sodom and Gomorrah (Isaiah 13:19). Sodom and Gomorrah are the names of two infamous ancient cities. There are more than 100 prophecies predicting Babylon's fate, the principal ones being found in the Old Testament books of Isaiah 13:19-22, 14:23 and Jeremiah 50:13, 39; 51:26, 43, 58, 62. These foretell of Babylon's destruction. They tell that it will never again be inhabited that the Arabs will not camp there, that there would be no more sheep there, that its remains would be the habitation for wild beasts. They foretold that Babylon would be covered by lagoons of water, that it's stones would not be used again to build anything else and that it's walls would be torn down, among other predictions made.

Did all of these things really happen? Did the Bible's prophecy come true? When the Persians saw that Babylon was a strong fortress, they attacked from within with the help of Babylonian traitors. They re-routed the river Euphrates which crossed the city to expose the space that the river took up under it's giant walls in order to penetrate it. In 539BC, Babylon fell to king Cyrus of Persia and from that moment, the destruction of the great Babylonian empire began. Xerxes took its spoils and tore down a variety of its temples and monuments. Alexander the Great attempted to rebuild the parts in ruins and to make Babylon the capital of his own empire. But Alexander fell victim to a rare and incurable disease before being able to carry out his plan. He died in Babylon in 223BC. Not even the greatest conqueror could alter what the Word of the Lord had spoken. In 363BC, Julian the Apostate, ordered the destruction of the walls of Babylon from which nothing remained.

Various observers, including modern day archaeologists tell how the ancient site of Babylon is left desolate, inhabited only by wild beasts, there is no green plant life in it's outskirts, neither do the Bedouins (Arab nomads) dare spend a night there due to superstitions. And although bricks from Babylon have been taken to construct other buildings in surrounding areas, the stones that were imported to Babylon have never been moved! Even the Bible's prophecy that it would be covered with water has come to happen. At a certain time of the year, the river Euphrates swells and covers part of the territory, leaving marshes and swamps. They then dry up and Babylon returns to being a vast desert, burned by the blazing sun. God's word, the Holy Bible, foretold of the complete destruction and desolation of Babylon long before anyone could have possibly imagined that it could fall like it did. The punishments that God promises will come. Surely, they will come.

The frightening prophecy concerning Babylon is only one of many that the Bible has spoken, and that have been fulfilled to the letter, and that can easily be verified by science! Let's take a look at another Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled in our modern times.

A Nation That Was Born In A Day-The modern nation of Israel is a magnificent example of what looked like an impossible prophecy to come true. Who could have imagined that Israel could ever have existed again as a nation after being conquered, exiled, dispersed all over the world and its territory absorbed by the Arabs? Nevertheless, the book of Isaiah declares in chapter 66, verses 8 through 23 that the nation of Israel would again return (exist). This is also said in chapter 27, verses 12 and 13 (there are many more). On May 14th, 1948, the official formation of the nation of Israel was decreed. Israel practically began to exist overnight, since, on the following day, the Brittish, who had controlled the land, withdrew, leaving it free to Israel. Jews came to Israel from all parts of the world, having preserved their national identity after approximately 1,900 years of having been away from home. National identity is normally lost by the fifth generation! This constitutes a miracle in itself. Thus, the nation of Israel has been reborn which is now a military power and can govern herself very well.

And this same young (reborn) nation of Israel is in the lead role of another fulfilled modern-day prophecy. One only need consult the Biblical scripture of Psalm 83 and compare it with a newspaper from the year 1967. The newspapers reported on what is known as the Six-Day War in which Arab nations attacked Israel in an attempt to recuperate the former territory. Psalm 83 and the newspapers say the same thing! Let us read the proof.

In verses 3 - 5, Psalm 83 says:

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of the Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee.

The Arab nations, in secret, made a confederation for the purpose of permanently erasing the nation of Israel from the face of the earth.

On June 8th, 1967, war broke out between Egypt and Israel. Egypt was joined by her allies of Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Jordan, (as they are known by their modern names). Although they looked to obtain a rapid victory, Israel attacked immediately as a powerful and rapid bolt of lightening, bombing the Egyptian air bases and thus eliminating the country's airforce completely. They also severely damaged the air force of Syria, Jordan and Iraq. The Arabs never expected Israel to be so well armed and organized.

The Bible foretold the victorious onslaught by Israel against her Arab enemies.

Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: which perished (died) at Endor: they became as dung (waste) for the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes (rulers) as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: Who said, let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. Psalm 83:9-12

The Arabs attempted to take to themselves the houses of God (Israel) in their possession. They made the mistake of attempting to take the Promised Land away from the descendents of the children of Israel and therefore were swiftly and mightily overthrown such as were those who are mentioned in the above scripture which speaks of Israel's great war victories as God is who fought her battles.

After Israel captured all of the Sinai peninsula, she also took the Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem, the West Bank (ancient Judea and Samaria) in just four days! She then turned to the Syrian Front and the territory around Golan. On June 11th, the United Nations called for a cease-fire and the war ended. It was truly a shameful event for the Arab countries, for instead of riding themselves of Israel once and for all, they lost a huge territory of the land and witnessed to the world, the permanency of Israel. As of 1993, Israel is well on her way to occupying all of the territory promised to her people of the Old Testament: the Promised Land.

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord. Let them be confounded and troubled forever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is J E H O V A H, art the most high over all the earth. Psalm 83:16-18

Scientific Accuracy Of Christian Bible

The Bible was written in the pre-scientific era but it is precise in all of its scientific affirmations. How could this be possible without inspiration from the Lord? It could not be.

The following scriptures speak loud evidence of the Almighty's inspiration of the Bible.

He (God) stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing Job 26:7

Job was written before scientist 'discovered' that the earth, like other planets is held in it's galaxy and in it's orbit by nothing. Gravity is nothing to the natural eye as it is invisible neither is it a 'thing' that the earth is hung upon. In Job 26:7, the Bible taught us Newton's law of inertia, one of the basic principles of the science of Physics!

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth... Isaiah 40:22

Isaiah was written at a time when men believed the earth was flat. How would Isaiah have had this kind of knowledge?

As the host (the stars) of heaven cannot be numbered...
Jeremiah 33:22 (also taught in Jeremiah 31:37 and Genesis 15:5, 22:17)

Jeremiah, (as well as the other scriptures teaching the very same thing) was written at a time when men tried to count the stars thinking it was possible to know how many there were. Thousands of years later scientist 'discovered' that it is impossible to count the stars. The size of the universe is immeasurable even with the aid of the most powerful telescopes ever created. But the Bible had stated this fact without the use of any telescope at all, or any other tool, modern or ancient.

The wind goes toward the south and turneth about unto the north, it whirleth about continually and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. All the rivers run into the sea yet the sea is not full, unto the place from where the rivers come, to there they return again. Ecclesiastes 1:6-7

Ecclesiastes teaches us about the circulation of the air in the atmosphere as well as about the cycle of water before this was ever "discovered" by scientists and meteorologists.

...the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (can be seen). Hebrews 11:3

Subatomic particles cannot be seen. It is of subatomic particles that everything that we see around us is made. How would the Apostle Paul, who lived in ancient times, have known this? He knew by the inspiration of God.

...whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Ecclesiastes 3:14

Science teaches us that everything is matter, and that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. The Lord is the Creator of the world and all things in it, the Creator of matter. The Holy Bible, which is his word, told us thousands of years before it was 'discovered' that nothing can be put to matter, or anything taken from it. This is accurate science. It is called The First Law of Thermodynamics!

The Bible is also perfectly accurate in it's teachings in the area of medicine and the prevention of disease which have been proven down through the centuries, not to mention it’s accuracy in the area of archaeology, genealogy, history, etc. Every accusation that the Bible contains error and mistakes has been completely crushed. The so-called errors are put forth by those who hold in their heart disdain for the Son of God, the Lord Jesus. It is their desperate attempt to deceive those who are unlearned in the word of God.

We also have the fact that the Bible warns us of the demonic teachings of every 'religion' and doctrine, ancient or modern. But the 'bibles' of other 'religions' only deal with their own beliefs. What is more is that they do not promise and cannot promise in their word the things that God promises in his, the Holy Bible! There is no other bible in the entire world that has ever existed or that ever will that can stand in comparison with the Holy Bible. This is not an opinion. This is a true statement. Other bibles do not teach science, they do not teach medicine, they do not correctly teach history, they contain no prophecies, are full of gross errors and mistakes of all kinds, including chronological ones. They have not stood the test of time. Many have attempted to imitate the Holy Bible, but not one has ever duplicated it! An impostor seeks to imitate what is real and what is true. The Bible, often imitated, never duplicated!

...The word of the Lord endureth forever and this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter 1:25

...Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20

And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ... 1 John 3:23
