Scripture of The Day - 1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world
Do You Believe The Bible Has Errors? You Might Be In For A Surprise
Anyone who is intelligent, and who really wants to know the truth says something like, "Hmmm. I find it very odd that the Bible is infallible in its scientific teachings, and in its prophecies; and that it also has errors. There must and explanation." That is intelligent reasoning. And after two or three "mistakes" in the Bible have been explained to you, you have enough to want to delve deeper into the Word and the ways of God. If you haven't read our article, Why Believe The Christian Bible?, we highly recommend it. The link is at the end of this content.
Biblical error # 1 - Wine or grape juice?
Scoffers say: "The authors of the Bible did not even know how to distinguish between wine and grape juice."
Answer: Let's consider the generic use of certain words in the Bible. For example, "wine" meaning "wine" in some passages, and "grape juice" in others. How do you know which one it refers to? Well, when referring to "grape juice", the authors let us know they're talking about freshly squeezed juice from the vine. When referring to wine, they speaks of fermentation. Such a lack of understanding coupled with a strong desire to discredit the Bible has led to a host of false accusations against the inerrancy of Scripture.
Biblical error # 2 - Unicorns in the Christian Bible?
Scoffers say: "Unicorns ... mythical animals appear in the Bible, which shows that we cannot trust the scriptures."
Answer: The bovine - now extinct - was a real animal that had only one horn, and one known to the authors of the Bible. "Unicorn" is one of those generic words. We can call any animal with one horn a "unicorn", because the word refers to any beast of the field that has only one horn. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the unicorn is a HORSE with one horn. Let's learn to apply the correct meaning to words so as not to look ridiculous. That goes for the accusation that the Bible mistakes the bird for the bat, and all other examples of the same kind. It is not a question of an incorrect translation or a lack of knowledge on the part of the authors, but rather on the part of the scoffer. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There is no incorrect information in the Bible.
And those of you who trust so much in science, did you know that according to the law of aerodynamics, the bumblebee cannot fly? But we know very well that the bumblebee does indeed fly. Why then do you exalt scientists who have been wrong a zillion times?
Here are even more links to content that debunks the myth that the Bible contains error and contradicts itself:
1. "The Bible says that no one can see God and still live. It also says that there were people who saw God, and did not die." We refer you to:

2. "The Bible says God does everything He wants to do. It also says He wants everyone to come to repentance, but we know that not everyone will. Why then doesn't God make everyone do His will by coming to repentance?"
We refer you to:
Does God Really Want Everyone To Be Saved?
3. "The Bible says that God is just. It also says that God hardened Pharaoh's heart, knowing that the hardened heart is less likely to come to repentance and be saved. Is God therefore unjust?"

Wasn't God Unjust By Hardening Pharaoh's Heart?
4. "We cannot say that the prophet Isaiah prophesied the virgin birth of Jesus, because the Hebrew word he used refers to both a virgin and to a young lady who may or may not be a virgin."

5. "If the prophet Isaiah really knew that the earth is spherical, why does the Bible speak of the four corners of the earth?"

Four Corners Of The Earth
6. "How is it possible that Jesus is the firstborn of all creation when Adam is the first man that God created?"

7. "Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, but where in the Bible does it say that God is in three persons?"

The list could go on!
English-speaking science fans may also want to subscribe to the Institute for Creation Research (ICR.org) magazine Acts & Facts. The Christian scientists at Acts & Facts play a huge role in the battle against the lies told on the Bible. These scientists have masters and doctorates of science, so they know what they are talking about as they expose the lies of the scientists who are enemies of the gospel of Jesus. Acts & Facts / ICR.org highlights how ridiculous the theory of evolution is. Unfortunately, they only publish content in English.
Based on true events, The Third Man by Angela Sheffield, brings the Bible up close and personal as the characters face real issues of life: Betrayal, deceit, romance, bitterness, anger against God, hopelessness, will power, perplexity, triumph, unforgiveness, mental illness, and the "Alcohol made me do it" excuse.
