Is There a New World Order Conspiracy for Antichrist Government?
The Subtle Signs of a New World Order Conspiracy?
There are measures being taken around the world that might indicate to some people that there is a New World Order conspiracy. However, focus is on the changes that have taken place, and are still taking place specifically within the United States. These changes are seen in the educational system, attitudes, the work place, government, the church, and the arts.
For example, in many of the schools of the U.S.A., there has been an emphasis on embracing "world citizenship." Nothing appears to be wrong with what is presented as a step toward international harmony. However, nothing is wrong with being on guard against conditioning the mind of students to focus on being a world citizen more than being productive citizens of their individual nations. A New World conspiracy must combat the generally accepted definitions of patriotism while promoting acceptance of citizenship in a world government.
With good reason, some have included the formation of the United Nations and the European Economic Community (EEC) in the list of the signs of a New World Order conspiracy. An international government would be a uniting of the nations; and it would be a worldwide community. There also are international organizations to which churches of all faiths can join in exchange for certain benefits and advantages.
Antichrist World Government to Come Predicted in Scripture?
Does the word of God really say anything about a New World Order conspiracy? If it does, does is say that antichrist government is what the earth awaits? These are questions that cannot be thoroughly answered in one, or even two or more articles. Nevertheless, we can easily answer those questions in the affirmative, if we look at scripture.
We read in the Christian Bible, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" (KJV, Rev. 13:1). The beast that rose up was crowned; a crown is what a ruler of some sort wears. Therefore, a crown shows authority. The name of blasphemy on the heads of the beast is blasphemy against the Lord. Antichrist government should be expected to be blasphemous against God.
We then read, "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority...and all the WORLD wondered after the beast...and they worshiped the beast" (Rev. 13:2-4). We see in this scripture that all of the world worshiped the beast who had been given great authority and a seat. Government is great authority and a king or ruler holds a seat within government. This beast is obviously in politics and has a high seat in government. But, should those who suspect a New World Order conspiracy for antichrist government assume that the beast will rule a worldwide government?
We read, "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb..." (Rev. 13:7-8).
It cannot be any plainer that the beast will occupy one of the highest seats in world government. The Bible clearly says that he was given power over all nations. We also read that all who refuse to worship the image of the beast will be murdered (Rev. 13:15). This is only one passage of the Cristian Bible upon which belief that there is a New Word Order conspiracy for antichrist government is justifiably based.
